Good Points

Great vocal clarity. Reasonably flat frequency response down to about 80 Hz. Good looking speakers and well built. Have served me well as monitors, bookshelf and rear ch.


Bad Points

Woofers bottom out quite easily and can resonate with unprocessed music (probably only relevant when used as a monitor). One driver had to be replaced after it tore its spider.


General Comments

Would recommend the Acoustic Energy Aegis Evo 1 if you come by for less than £100 / 200$ the pair. Bought mine for £150 after seeing them on offer and having been awarded 5 WhatHIFI stars
