Bad Points
Food on the menu is getting more expensive compared with their competitors.
General Comments
Four of us went to the above pub for the 2.99 fish & chips offer. Unfortunately the coffee machine was not working. We were then told that we had to have other drinks rather than the tea or coffee that should be included, and pay full price for them. The fish & chips were still charged at 2.99. We now feel that the offer was not met. I am not complaining about the offer, it would be great if it had been honoured. After several unanswered emails, I eventually had to ring their Customer Service and I asked for a reasonable refund, as on top of the 11.96 paid for our fish & chips with tea, we paid an additional 3.26 for drinks, and was told this was not their policy, but if I send in the receipt, they would consider it! If the coffee machine goes wrong, it is their liability, and the customer should not be out of pocket.
