Changed flight schedule many time. Bad bad bad food. Personal Tv's faulty and rarely work. Rude staff. No booze.


General Comments

Flew London- Dubai- Brunei- Brisbane Return March/April 2008. This is definitely the worst airline I have flown from beginning to end. Not such a disaster as I have read from many below but an unpleasant journey nonetheless. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The flight schedule changed so many times it was ridiculous and I ended up with 4 different itineraries. Eventually I had to phone the airline to find out what time our flights were once and for all. Once on board you notice straight away how old and grubby the seats are which doesn't inspire confidence. We had personal TV's most of the way however I will issue this warning, the reputation for more leg room only applies to the planes which do not have personal TV's so it's one or the other. In fact the one's with personal TV's have incredibly awkward seating space for those sat on the isle with some huge bar in the way of your legs so you have to stick them out in the isle. As for our entertainment experience, on the outward journey the personal TV's both froze several times and had to be reset and on the return journey one didn't work at all and the other packed it in half way through the flight. 27 hours without any entertainment at all is pretty hard going and in my opinion just not good enough. PATHETIC. The food was atrocious for all but one meal and I mean really really bad for airline food; the worst I have EVER had. The staff, particularly the women for some reason, were unhelpful and seemed to be resentful every time you asked for something. I don't really have anything positive to say. Maybe only that although 2 stops on the way to Australia sound a lot I found it helpful just to be able to hop out and walk around but it's not a saving grace.
