On the rare occasions that I am able to get to the Branch, I have found the staff helpful. Even long queues are dealt with quickly
Bad Points
They are almost impossible to contact by phone and have no e-mail address. I spent half and hour waiting for them to answer the phone before I gave up. This has happened more than once. I was charged more than £6000 for an early repayment of a loan of £5000 but cannot speak to anyone to confirm this is correct.
General Comments
It would be useful if Barclays Bank made it easier for customers to contact them by adding the full address and e-mail, either on the regular bank statements or on the online banking page.
Perhaps take on board that not everyone can get to the Branch easily and employ more people to answer the phone.
I have banked with them for over 26 years but have now decided to move my account elsewhere.
