Good Points

The chat software and interface are excellent, very well designed, the way the community is structured in the website is very well done. At first glance, the 30plus room (but not the other rooms) appears to be a place where you might meet some nice people.


Bad Points

I have no idea how long this has been going on, but I have come into the chatroom at all hours on a regular basis for over a year, so I have gotten to know almost all the regulars there. And although you might not believe it when you are first becoming familiar with the website, a lot of these people are most likely tied to the sale of sex in one way or another in my opinion. There are of course also people who are not, but I have done a lot of research on the subject, and according to my research, a majority of the regulars appear to be linked to this business in one way or another. Personally what I look for in a chatroom is a nice, clean, friendly environment. A place where you have a fighting chance of meeting friendly, genuine, caring people. And Spinchat is not that kind of place at all. Even in the cleanest of their chatrooms, the 30 plus room, which has moderators at most times of day, if you enter with a female name you are immediately bombarded with private messages from a bunch of perverted men in my experience.


General Comments

My review is primarily based on my experience being a regular in the Spinchat "30 plus" chatroom for over a year, coming in at all hours of the day. I have some, but more limited experience in the "Talk" room, which is much much worse with no moderators at most times as far as I am aware, and moody teenagers cuss at each other in there most of the time. The "A Better Place to Be" chatroom is occupied primarily by chatters who have been coming to Spinchat for years, and have acquired a large "customer base" so to speak, and so do not need to inhabit the other, larger rooms more frequented by unregistered users. The chat is nominally "clean" in this room, which means that cussing is not allowed, but still, most of the conversation ultimately revolves around sex in my opinion, and that is mainly what people come for as far as I am concerned.
