Friendly, intimate, nice pool, (although you're either in or out.- no steps, only a ladder into the deep part! Kept clean). For the grade it's a good menu. Try the fish fingers (not Capt Birdseye shape, so your kids maybe disappointed). Battered fish "sausages" and pure local fish! Best sea views in Gambia as high on mini cliff. Steepish path down to sand-covered concrete sunbathing platform - a lot nicer than it sounds. Swimming from here is not really practical due tide and rocks, but plenty of other superb sandy beaches only a mile away (Cape Point area). A simple place which attracts regular visitors from UK. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if cost is a consideration. Been several times. Cupboards are old fashioned and unsophistcated - heck, you're on holiday and unlikely to be confined to your room due to bad weather!! Make sure there's a plug in the basin!
