Nice design, it is a focal point of the kitchen.
Part keep breaking.
My experience of my Smeg FAB 28 retro is the same as all the other reviewers. Within a year the rubber seal on the door broke. The entire door had to be replaced. We have had to replace the plastic bottle holders and the other containers attached to the door. The freezer door at the top never closes properly. We have also replaced it numerous times as the fragile 'pin- type' fasteners snap off. All these replacement parts are expensive. Also as the freezer door is not designed to close too tightly this leads to drainage problems at the bottom of the fridge which each couple of weeks is swimming with water under the bottom drawer. The fridge was in itself expensive and the ongoing purchase of new parts makes this an outrageously expensive fridge. I notice that Smeg are still selling it. Shame on them I say.
