Good Points
Plenty of choice, great service, lots of natural light, kids playroom, medium priced, informative staff, bottomless soft drinks, very clean.

Bad Points
No alcohol licence yet but was informed that it will be coming soon

General Comments
We went to Spur for the first time on Thursday 03/04/08 and was very impressed with the layout of the restaurant. there is an open plan kitchen so you can watch the chefs at work. We had porterhouse steaks that were cooked perfectly (med-rare) and our soft drinks were never allowed to run out by the very attentive server. The atmosphere was great, music was not too loud, and the restaurant soon filled up. they have only been open a couple of weeks so there were a few gremlins to sort out but nothing that was serious. The staff informed us what items were available immediately and the reasons why others were not, namely no alcohol yet. that didn't bother us as we had to go back to work. we skipped desserts but the coffee was really good. We will be back for sure.
