Good Points

Poor online customer service
- Very poor online feedback on your order status (two orders cancelled by them and I did not receive a notification e-mail!)

General Comments

I initially placed this order online with a solo (maestro) card. The order was cancelled the day after and I had not received any e-mail notifying me of this (I actually had to log on to the website and go to tracking order to find out). I e-mailed customer services, they said there were some "internal errors" and I should place the order again. I was unhappy with this because they didn't even make an effort to place the order for me. But I placed the order again and e-mailed customer services explaining that my first order was cancelled due to internal errors and asking whether these errors had been fixed. My second order got cancelled as well and I received no notification! After sending an e-mail to complaints I finally got someone to explain that the reason why the orders were cancelled was because they don't accept solo cards (not a difficult explanation really!). They apologised for not having informed me of the order cancellations or the reason for cancellation. At this point the voucher I had had expired and I gave up ordering with them.
The next day I got a call from them saying they would place the same order again (with the voucher) if I can provide a different card. I accepted that and my computer arrived 3 days later!
If you are ordering with Dell make sure you use Visa cards!
The initial customer service over the internet was very poor, but after complaining I got a 5-star telephone service and the order arrived very quickly with Walsh Western. The computer is excellent (XPS 1530) and I am happy buying from them again with my visa card!
