Price, but if you pay peanuts you get monkeys.
In my experience reliability, Customer Service, Set Up Time.
Although the price is good, our service has been inconsistent throughout the 18 months that I and members of my family have been using the service as far as I am concerned. Everyone I now who uses the service has had downtime, occasionally lasting for several days whilst Sky and BT point the finger at each other in my opinion.
We finally stopped using Sky's service this week after we were told by BT that Sky had installed a faulty piece of equipment at our local exchange and, after taking it out, I was informed by Sky that we had to re-apply to the service which would take around 4 weeks! I found this totally unacceptable and Sky did nothing make up for the problem or attempt to keep our custom in my opinion.
I would not recommend Sky to anyone unless the low price is an absolute necessity.
