Good Points

Other than the low cost and being one of the few places who'd insure one of my cats at 8yo at the time, there's nothing I've found that would convince me to recommend them to other people.


Bad Points

Hopeless staff, at least judging by the delay in settling my claim, tho' in fairness, this could be down to them being understaffed.


General Comments

Not only did I have to sit and watch a much loved cat slowly dying, before the vets discovered he had CRF and ultimately put to sleep, but now I find Tesco are being more than a touch reticent about paying up.

I wasn't overly bothered about the mounting vet bills as he was insured, but I still had to find just under £800 (borrowed from friends and family as how many people have that sort of cash spare?) Up to present Tesco have had my claim for a month now, and when I phoned a week ago to enquire about it, I was told it hadn't even been looked at yet, and it could take another 5 weeks as they have such a backlog of claims to deal with first.

Quite frankly, I find the delay in settling my claim to be nothing short of disgraceful.
