General Comments

Southbank is my favourite place to go to skate, seeing as its walking distance from me. There are two parts, Southbank (Under the festival Hall) Where there are quite a few banks, a 7 set and a big 4 set, and the company of quite alot of skaters. Also theres Shell Centre, Which is a 3 set with the biggest run up possible to it, a 6 set and around five 7 sets. Theres ledges and alot of stuff, Just the annoyance of people walking through it. A bad thing about shell is, when it rains, its gonna be wet, but southbank has a roof so its protected from the rain. There is another bad point about southbank, the stones from the massive pots where the skaters sit, are sometimes on the floor which making your skateboards skid making you fall sometimes. Good for beginners too, alot of stuff to practice on. Also they have special days in southbank when skate companys come to promote and give away free stuff (including skateboards!) such as stickers, t shirts, skateboard parts, and everything! Its not often but its fun when it happens. Some skate sponsors come here too, and may ask you to skate for them, and that could be your lucky day! If your good enough tho :P
