Bad Points

Not updated as often as it could be.
Can't apply for a Best Buy mortgage - have to go though the wizard which is a bit frustrating, however I guess this makes sense.

Guides are comprehensive but not very readable - I would like a printable version of this.


General Comments

Charcol Mortgages is really good and helps find the right Mortgage depending on my needs. You can then apply online although I would rather do this over the phone.

The Ask section on www.charcol.co.uk is really useful and allows visitors to ask questions which are then responded to - the quality of the responses is very good and does actually provide genuine advice which is rare online.

The Calculators are good but could be a bit more dynamic and Web 2ish.
All in all a great site - provides comparison site functionality whilst also providing dedicated mortgage advice and help.

Design is nice and fresh as well
