Well after reading all the other reviews of this Hotpoint FDW60 I guess I've just been lucky with my machine. I bought it 6 years ago I have never had to call an engineer out and it still going strong. I like how the bottom plate rack folds down to fit in saucepans and stuff. Design of machine looks goods and I've been generally pleased with it. My previous Hotpoint machine however was a different story, thankfully I had it insured and after about 2 years the engineer got so fed up with coming out it got written off.
