Roa's Waters was absolutely the best thing Aquatica has going. We had an absolute blast racing around with our adult lifejackets on. (Plenty of lifejackets in various sizes are supplied) Walkabout Waters was great for the kids! The slides were all really fun, apart from the huge lines.
It took us 50 minutes from the road / entrance to get into the parking lot. (at 9am on a Thursday) The parking attendant was extremely rude. For an additional fee you can closer parking which is only 4 rows over from the regular priced parking. The lockers cost $8 to rent and I couldn't fit my backpack inside they are SO tiny. You need to bring or rent towels ($4), although I couldn't find any information about this on their website. The food was overpriced and not very fresh. We ate at the WaterStone Grill and my cheese steak sandwich tasted like mystery meat with cheese whiz. The bathrooms weren't very clean, especially for somewhere you are supposed to enter with barefeet.
I feel as though Sea World Aquatica has not yet ironed out the 'kinks'. The signature slide Dolphin Plunge was a huge let down. We waited for well over an hour to go into a totally black tube, emerge for about 10 seconds in the clear tube (where you are supposed to see the dolphins), and land in the pool. You couldn't see anything when you were actually in the clear tube, because your eyes are still adjusting from the black! My family of 5 was not impressed.
