Quick to get me signed up for policy for my ex demo Prius
After three weeks still waiting for progress on my claim - impossible to get progress online or to speak to the same person twice. Calls are NEVER returned despite promises and assurances. Make unsubstantiated claims about telling me advice they have NEVER given (I have kept the long email trails). Accuse garage of not passing details and estimates when they have been forwarded by fax and emails and phone countless times. To top it all I have never received a penny of the promised cash back
I have now been without my car for at least three weeks while it sits in a garage waiting approval for a 48 hour repair job. This company claims it advised me to take it to an approved garage but they have never responded to my requests to name an approved dealer competent in hybrid cars. They have clearly prevaricated and delayed taking action. I particularly resent the accusation that I myself am the cause of my misfortune. My only fault was to move from a reliable insurer to Swiftcover. It seems in going for a cheaper deal I have fallen victim to the adage that you get what you pay for. In this case a decidedly cheap and poor level of service
