3.0d sport: Comfort on motorway journeys is comparable with any luxury car on the market, the performance for a car of this size. I am averaging 30.0 mpg cruising at 80mph. It has enough toys to keep anyone happy. I also use this vehicle for towing a caravan and you have to keep looking in your mirror to make sure the van is still there, it tows with more control and sure footedness than any other car I have towed with (two 5 series bmw's).
It is a bit scittish on uneven country lanes due to the 20" alloys; the Traffic Master link to the GPS is a biot dissapointing as it can send you off on a route that traffic master has no knowlege of and therefore you can be as stuck on the alternate route as you were on the original.
I have a December 2006 BMW X5 with 12k on the clock that I paid 31700 for this was 17,100 cheaper than it was new - so far seems like very good value for money as you can drive it all day long and still be as fresh as when you got in it.
