The good points of the 880 is its fairly accurate with the 4x15 scope it came with, its fairly cheap at walmart and has variable power.
The bad thing about the 880 is the trigger pull is around 7 pounds and could be lightened up and the other is the iron sights can be improved also.
At first when I got my 880 I put on the scope and was not able to zero in but after looking at the scope mounts I noticed they lean out to the right side a little bit so I turned them to lean to the left because I am a right handed shooter. after that I was able to zero in the scope in a couple of minutes and was very accurate with daisy pointed pellets,I tried various pellets (daisy, crosman) and found the daisy more accurate.I have been killing rats and grackles ever since with 1 shot kills. now I have the daisy powerline 3-9X32 scope on it and its sweet. for the price of 35 dollars I think I got a good deal.
