Bad Points

Customer service wasn't good. I left without anyone giving me answers as to why my eye test was so bad it was even suggested that I did not answer the questions properly. With a history of blindness in the family I thought they'd have more care with clients

General Comments

Wwent for an eye test with boots. Complained all the way through that I could see double then we were interrupted by boots staff because she was running late. I couldn't complain to the staff because I had a child to pick up. Told my hubby and he suggested that I go somewhere else. I went to another optician and I didn't tell them I'd been to boots. I had the eye test and I could at last see the screen. I handed him my previous test results and asked him if he would compare the results, there was quite a difference. Went back to boots to ask if they could give me answers as to why I did not get the right prescription in the first place. They suggested a retest and would get a discount voucher off any glasses purchased at boots. But when I went for retest the optician refused to test me. Even the manager on shop floor couldn't get her to retest me she said that they're was no point in a retest because I had a prescription from another company that I could see through. I said that if the first test had been right I wouldn't have needed to go elsewhere she said I should of told them. I told her all the way through test that I could see double and it is important that my eyes are checked as my mum was blind due to a heredity disease. The optician said that my eyes would have been checked thoroughly for it. The only thing that was offered was my bus money back not a happy person. Your eyesight is the most important part of your senses, I should know my mum didn't see me grow up from when I was 5 nor see her grandkids. My complaint is not over yet I will take this further.
