General Comments
I have never had one good experience with Halifax bank. The customer service is awful. Some staff are the most rude and unhelpful and I find this in every branch i have ever been in. Their charges ridiculous amounts.. i was over drawn by 7p yes that's right SEVEN PENCE and i got charged £48!! something they call reasonable. £20 unauthorised overdraft and £28 at the end of the month!! even if i was made to pay back double..fine that's 14p but £48 for a 7p mistake! They cant even send a new card out on time.. i had to go into branch and ask 3 times for a new card as mine expired! They promise great benefits with a student account which is what i have yet it is awful!! I would never advise anyone to bank with them!
