Good points, I have had a week to think about this question ? and have decided on one word to sum it up, that is.... service. sorry two words. The bad service is Virgins good point, from there on everything else was a shambles in my experience and opinion.
It would be easy to condemn Virgin, as they did have many bad faults as far as I am concerned.
Once Virgin and I guess all the other providers, have you on the fixed 12 month contract, they can do what they like in my opinion. I was lucky and got away from Tiscali, before they roped me in. Thats when I joined Virgin (fire , pan jump into, words that come to mind). I am totally fed up with Virgin Media or is it Virgin Net?. They seem to change their name? Customer service in my opinion have grinded me down with copy paste responses to individual inquiries. I have written dozens of letters, emails and telephone calls, to have them listen to my grievance. I finally got a reaction from a manger, it was great. They will now receive my final letter, seeking compensation. You have to wait three months and then you can take the matter to the CISAS. Who are independent adjudicators. If my final letter does not conclude my situation and they typically answer in their "terms and condition say" and copy/paste insert nonesence. I am of to see the wizard at the CISAS.
