J Abbey's review of BMW K1200LT

★★★★★

“Overall the BMW K1200LT are good long distance tourers...”

Written on: 04/04/2008 by J Abbey

Good Points
Having owned the first 1200LT I now have the updated one (2004) the tweaking that has been done ie more bhp, the forks brought in,narrower waist line, better brakes. makes for better o/taking,manoeuvreing,comfort & stopping.power.

Bad Points
The seat of the new one is not has comfortable as the first model I had, I feel it would be better with a sixth gear to get a less reving engine & something to stop the brake calippers from making a clattering noise over rough road surfaces.

General Comments
Overall the BMW K1200LT are good long distance tourers and bikes you can throw about for their size, with plenty of luggage space & economical at 50+ mpg no matter how hard it is ridden. Yes, I would buy another.
