Good Points

Look fantastic and unbelievably cheap

General Comments

I bought these Acoustic Solutions AV120 Speakers at Richer Sounds for £70 in Beech on the advice of the salesman who told me that they were the best speakers they had in for under £100. Whilst the bottom end is nicely round, the mid-range frequencies seem to dominate, which isn't necessarily a problem if you retain instrument separation which, unfortunately, these don't. Played "Never Mind the B******s" through them and the poke was minimal. However, I agree that folky/acoustic stuff does sound fine. Also, contrary to what the previous reviewer wrote, I found that the louder I pushed them, the better they sounded (which isn't particularly helpful when you live in a small semi).
