Lots of bargains. Often first with a new products
High cost of postage. Poor customer service both by phone or e-mail. Can not cope with complaints. Taking payment before goods dispatched therefore obtaining refunds is difficult for either goods not arriving or sold out. Unable to preview items (as on other channels) to purchase in advance. Most items seem to take ages to deliver. Trying to explain to a call centre abroad that obviously uses a script when answering a query.
The web site often has poor descriptions of goods either with the sizes, what it exactly is when there are several items with the same product code.
The amount of time and money that is wasted either trying to get through to the call centre. Try the middle of the night!. Getting a reply to an e-mail, write to the head office in Peterborough addressed to the company secretary and recorded delivery. I finally got a reply, a refund( although I have yet to see it in my account) and £10.00 as compensation. It is worth percevering .
I do a lot of crafting but now discover who the product is supplied by and find another source. It may be a little more expensive but the postage is less and the delivery is much faster!
