General Comments
Just wanted to say that I got the left speaker problem with my Sony DAV-S500. I took the circuit board in order to resolder but couldn't see any problems., I checked the connections from the board to the socket with a multi meter. All seemed fine so I reassembled. But now it works!



Seems like there is some dodgy connection. This may get worse when it heats up. Anyway, it might be worth a try.
