Poor customer service, return policy and the florists they deal with


General Comments

Ordered flowers to be sent to my sister after her surgery for a broken nose. Luckily they went to my sister who will be honest with me and she wanted to know where I ordered them from because they were terrible. The flowers were broken and later found out from her description that it was not the arrangement I ordered. I called to complain the day after delivery and the customer service rep told me their policy was they will contact the florist and exchange out the arrangement. My sister also called the local florist that made and delivered the arrangement and they stated the same return/complaint policy. The woman asked my sister if she will be home that afternoon for them to deliver the new arrangement and pick up the first one (tacky). She told her yes since she is not allowed to get in a car with airbags for the next few days she is stuck home all day (this was yesterday). I also received confirmation from justflowers that the florist will swap out that day. Today, I called my Sister this morning to find they never came to swap the arrangement out. She informed me she was home all day and the company she had in the afternoon. I immediately called Justflowers and was dealt to deal with the rudest customer service rep I have ever had to deal with. I explained the story which he had notes on my order from the day before and let him know how very disappointed I was. He was rude and put me on hold to call the florist. He can back to insist they had tried to deliver the new flowers at 2:45 but no one was home and a note was left for someone to call to schedule delivery. I again stated that she was home all day and that it is an issue because they selected this florist to represent them and they obviously are bot doing a very good job. I advised him of my dissatisfaction of having to deal with this and he replied that all they can do is swap out the flowers. When I questioned how they were to do that the day before and it was not done he told me "why did you order the flowers from them if I did not like their return policy". My response was I did not look at the return policy because I didn't think it was that difficult to screw up a simple arrangement but let him know that the customer service provided was more then disappointing and I learned my lesson. I again called my sister and discussed the conversation and she said she was home all day, my nephew was home at that point and no note was left. She also called the local florist who delivered and she also was nasty and stated the delivery man stated no one was home and a note was left. My sister stated the same thing I did and informed her she received an Edible Arrangement delivery at about 2:30 so she was obviously home. I was disgusted with the service provided and called Justflowers and asked for a Supervisor ' . The representative was more helpful then the previous person I had. I let her know not only was it a disappointment but they should be aware of what florists are doing on their behalf. She appologized and asked if I wanted them delivered still. I told her at this point I would rather not. My poor sister was trying to recovery and we have been back and forth on the phone for 2 days now but I was informed that is the only recourse I have. She asked what I thought was fare compensation and stated she can call the florist to see if they will credit me $10 but can't guaranty it. I told her $10 does make up for 2 days of frustration and I wanted $20. She said she would call and have a manager call me back. A few minutes later she called and said the arrangement already went out for delivery so she could not stop it but she will still have a manager call me about compensation. 3 hours later a new arrangement showed up and it was what I paid for not the pathetic arrangement they previously sent. The florist is only 5 minutes from my sister's house per what the woman at the shop told the nasty customer service rep yet it took 3 more hours, 4 if you count the conversation my sister had an hour prior to this one. Even if they had other deliveries that day, it would not take that long. Still waiting for the manager to call, I am sure I will never get that call. Wish I would have found these reviews before hand. Hopefully, you will read these before placing the order rather then after. Will never do business with again!!!
