Superb screen display at 1024x600, bright and clear. Light weight, really mobile. Responsive and familiar thanks to running XP you can use all the applications you would normally. Nice selection of text input options so there should be something that suits everyone. Great range of connection options, High Speed (3G) data, Bluetooth, Wifi, and Cabled Ethernet connection (Gigabit I think). Great package!
A bit slow to boot up, and the split keyboard takes a bit of getting used to.
Supplied GPS software doesn't work as a proper navigation tool due to Samsung selling restrictions, but other solutions are easily obtained.
I had looked at several alternatives before deciding that this was the one I'd give a try. The screen looks great, and running at 1024x600 it really allows you to access web pages and applications at a level that makes it a fully portable PC and not a cutdown PDA/mobile view of the web. It takes a little while to start up, maybe slightly slower than my desktop PC, but once its booted it works pretty quickly. I've put an Orange and O2 sim card in it and connected to 3G, albeit a might easier with Orange. This makes it a fully mobile device, and the Connection Manager allows you to easily swap between the various connections you use. Happy to answer any questions if you want to comment me.
