Good speaker set included in the package from argos, good picture and features on the player, will play copies and has a remote hack for multiregion
Bad Points
this is clone of the Acoustic solutions 551, and suffers from some of the same issues such as bad remote design and big in size, the player buttons are very plasticy and feel like they will fall off, my one did suffer from black and white picture, i turned it off and back on this has cured it but i'm not sure if this is an issue with the player as another review has revealed that the person ended up changing the two unit and ended up with a different player.
General Comments
The Bush DVDAV11K offers good sound and picture and value for money at under £100 can't complain, although the brand name will put some people off, and excellant choice for any body on a budget , get yours from Argos and KEEP the receipt, you'll need it.

Could you please tell me if a Bush DVDAV11K 5.1-channel speaker system will be compatible with my Panasonic DMR-E55 DVD recorder, and if so what connections I should make?

The Bush DVD AV 11K will not play DVD-R disks without errors. As a result of the problems I have had, I have purchased a Pioneer player which plays the same disks perfectly. I don't know whether this is a fault on my BUSH player which is only about 7 months old, or that it is not compatible with DVD-R as the documentation doesn't tell me.
