I had my actual subscribed internet speed for all of 10 minutes at 3:34am one morning
Everything about Virgin Media in my experience has been bad as far as I am concerned.
Virgin Media are the worst ISP I have personally ever used.
In the good old days of Telewest I had fantastic speeds and 24/7 internet.
Now I rarely get 2Mbps off an "up to" 8Mbps account.
To make matters worse Virgin have introduced limits, yet they are still allowed to use the word "unlimited".
If you download more than 5 GB in peak times you lose your internet almost completely and have to suffer with just 80kbps for a whole week!
They're helpline is not worth the money in my opinion and waste of time as all they tell you that you shouldn't be downloading so much on their unlimited service.
I do not recommend Virgin Media.
