General Comments

Where do I start? So I saw L'Oreal's new Lash Architect Carbon mascara advertised on TV. Yes, I know the beautiful actress advertising it was wearing lash inserts (falsies) as do all the women on these adverts but I try more or less every mid-range mascara on the market. It makes some pretty big boasts on the outer packing. False lash effect, glossy etc. etc. I experienced neither effect. This has to be probably the worst I have ever used. I have naturally long curled eyelashes and this mascara was so hard to apply in one coat. It took several to build up even a half decent coverage. By the time I reached work the mascara had already started to clump and specks had gathered under my lower lashes and at the corners of my eyes. As for retouches? Forget it! As soon as the brush touched the already dry and flaky lashes, it came off in lumps! The best bit was, however, that on trying to remove it took major amounts of eye remover, baby oil etc. So I've put this rubbish mascara where it belongs - in the bin. I'll stick to Telescopic. Now that's a brilliant mascara!

    thanks for the review.
    it worked fine for me though. i got good results. sure they weren't up to the standard they said but they were pretty good.
    no offence but the way you described the application may have something to do with the way you applied it...
    And also you sound like you have nice eyelashes anyway so you probably don't need mascara :-)
