Good Points

Sound quality, comfort, short cord length, different sizes of ear piece to suit your ear.

Bad Points

Price, cord length if you need to use the extension, rubber earpieces fall off too easily.

General Comments

Just ordered a replacement pair of Sony MDR-EX71 headphones from Ebay at £16 which is great. But shop prices are double that. Main reason for buying again was sound quality - excellent bass and treble. Can't understand why others have complained about sound quality - perhaps they need to try a different size earpiece.

Cord length is an issue though. If you have your Ipod on your arm, these Sony's are great. In fact they are better than anything else on the market. However if you wear your Ipod on your waist or in your pocket you'll need to use the extension, and that is way too long.

Had to order replacements because the left channel stopped working after 2 yrs ownership. That said, they were used daily in the gym so they did have a hard life. I'm having to use the standard Ipod earphones (which are truly awful) until the new Sony's arrive. I hope that postman hurries up!
