Good Points

I can't think of a single good point relating to AOL since May of last year (2007) in my experience.

Bad Points

Technically they were unhelpful in my experience and opinion. Abroad support centre as far as I am aware which in my opinion they failed to accept that their users could be more knowledgable?

Separate fault reporting areas. I personally found it difficult to follow up any previous call (whether related to the same problem or not) without having to go through EVERY SINGLE ITEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

Their LIVE HELP option may as well not be there as far as I am concerned. I personally also found Google much more useful than AOL live help. LIVE HELP appear to be instructed always to suggest faults are user based and have a stock answer "re-install AOL" in my experience.

I am giving AOL a rating of 0 and I would not recommend anyone to take AOL as a service provider.

General Comments

If you aren't getting what you have been promised - I recommend to complain in writing. I personally took plenty of data and screen shots and date them as this was helpful for future reference.

Recommend broadband speed monitors or bandwidth monitors which have web-based logging, make notes of the log numbers. Keep records. Keep records. Keep records.

I would ask for your money back if they fail to resolve problems.

I also do not recommend AOL Broadband contract.

Finally..... I do not recommend AOL Broadband internet provider!!
