Good Points
John holds your hand quite a bit, but does show you some good stuff.

Bad Points
Yeah it could be shorter, and yeah there are chapter that lots of folks won't really need, but hey, he's trying to cover a lot of bases here.

General Comments
with ref. to review 29127, i agree with some of your points, but maybe you should have gone for the acompanying book by John which deals with formulas more.
