Friendly Staff
Wait for baggage at South terminal UK arrivals, LGW was 45 minutes!
Flew them for the first time on their inaugural Aberdeen-LGW service, which they have taken over from BA. They seemed pretty professional to me.Their Embraer 195 was brand new and very comfortable. There was a 5 minute delay getting on stand at LGW, although this was due to baggage handling problems at Aberdeen, and we had the same problem (only worse) outbound with BA.
The only real complaint was having to wait 45 minutes for my bag at LGW South Terminal. BA used the North terminal - if Flybe plan to use the South Terminal for a large volume of domestic flights they need to kick some proverbial. There's only one carousel for UK arrivals. You undo all your good work getting the plane in on time if passengers then have to hang at the airport for 45 minutes waiting for bags.
