Can mostly get near max rated speed as far as I am concerned.
Blanket speed cap not just as they say for the top 3% heavy users but for any amount of usage (is for me and many of my friends and relatives).
First off, Virgin media is not Virgin owned as far as I am aware?
Google etc and you will find NTL brought the brand virgin name for millions.
So what they did is buy a well known brand name to gain a larger customer base under the brand name of virgin, then brought in throttling as such maybe because new custom was slowing things down as far as I am aware?
Anyways, Again now that Virgin Media are the cable monopoly we the consumers get hit, Things come full circle in time, so later in its life VM may well be broken back up and then proper competition will flourish not only price-wise but product-wise too as far as I am concerned.
Could be better could be worse, But don't think virgin think NTL/Blueyonder when you see VM cable.
Ohh tv errors eg: picture freezes and general pauses in programmes are for me getting worse, Never had any tv picture problems under ntl in my experience.
