Good Points

The Sega Mastersystem II was the re-release of the classic Sega Master System. Featuring an internal game (which was featured on the previous version of the SMS) catered for one of 3 games that ranged from Alex Kidd to Sonic The Hedgehog. The Controller Pads were as you expected them to be like. The classic rectangular brick with your AD-Pad, A and B buttons and also a Start button.
There were many games for this classic system - As you would expect from a fine Sega product. These games consisted of things such as Duck Hunt, Super Hang On, Sonic The Hedgehog, Shinobi and many many more!

Bad Points

Of course The NES wasn't going to give up to defeat from the SMS (Sega Master System) so Nintendo kept whipping out Zelda and Mario games to keep dragging people back to their NES's and gradually bring them away from the Sega - luckily this didn't really take to any effect to the previous owners of the Sega.

General Comments

Overall - The Sega Master System II was basically a glorified and more bubbly looking Master System 1. With the same library of games (which could be used on both systems), there wasn't really much of a difference. The speeds and graphics were the same old 8bit pixelated amazingness - and was certainly a great console for its time.
Games like Sonic and Alex Kidd certainly made this console worth the buy - so if you care to do a bit of Retro console buying - this is certainly a 'Must Have'.
I personally have one flying about next to my TV screen - and even after over 15 years of having it - it certainly has never let me down!
With the HUGE library of games - from platformers to racing games - it has definitely been the best retro console I have ever owned apart from the Sega Megadrive.

Graphics - 7/10
Sound - 6/10
Controllers comfort - 8/10
Size of console - 7/10
Majority of good games - 8/10
Over all rating - 8/10.
