Very impressive claims service - fast and slick response and good customer contact by email and telephone

I have been bowled over by the excellent service I have received which is completely at odds with some of the comments on this site. My wife had an accident and scraped the car and within 3 hours of reporting it to a charming and helpful handler (who gave me a choice of VW approved repairers to use), the garage had not only made contact with us but had despatched a truck to recover the car from our house and delivered a replacement vehicle. Not only that but the courtesy car was a new Ford Focus in very good condition. OK, so I have 3 teenage children to be ferried around and two dogs so not the perfect vehicle but i can manage. The disruption to my life has been minimal and I have never had a claims experience as good as this in 30 years of driving. The courtesy of the handler was exemplary and everything was followed up within 5 minutes of calling in an email - details and contact numbers of the claims handler and the garage, a leaflet explaining everything I need to know and the ability to receive SMS updates. I am so impressed with the technology and slickness of it all that supports rather than replaces good customer contact. So to doubters out there, don't believe all the negative comments you read. No insurance company gets a good press in my experience but swiftcover are outstanding so far and the repairs have been immaculate. The trouble is people expect a good service and don't bother writing anything unless they want to moan - human nature.
