General Comments

After owning an Audi S3 for the past year I had become quite attached. The only thing is...the S3 gave me 25mpg! Even driving it steady meant no more than 26-7mpg so I thought (as well as my wallet did, it was time for a change) I opted for the mk4 golf gt tdi 130 in black and wow is I impressed. I cannot compliment it enough... Ive driven over 300 miles in it so far with an average mpg of 53.brilliant car! It has also been remapped by Customcode and runs at roughly 175bhp, which keeps you smiling from ear to ear. The car has 77k on it with full vwsh and it runs like a dream. To sum it up... I am overly amazed with the tdi130 and am really glad I bought one... brilliant power.brilliant mpg.good looks. vw build quality... handling could be better but nothing a set of lowering springs or coilovers could not sort out. Go get one! And dont let the mileage on some put you off...these cars are bullet proof.
