Hoover - The One Pet Review

Good Points
When its working it does a great job, the filters do need cleaning a lot but then thats what its designed to do.

Bad Points
After about a year and a half of relatively little use it looks like its hard a very hard life, the hinging mechanism has always been sticky and makes it awkward to clean under beds etc as it lifts up when reaching under, some of the locking mechanisms for ancillaries are a bit naff, especially for the lower filter, a second one we have overheats after a few mins.

General Comments
The main motor on my Hoover The One Pet has blown, dunno how but the windings on the motor were in bits, this was outside the warranty but don't really expect it to blow after such a short time. I notice its made in Italy and fairly cheap to replace ( £37.00) but Hoover wanted £70.00 to send an engineer out, we've decided we don't wanna spend anymore on it let alone another £100, we wont buy another hoover, especially after reading reviews here.
