I though FF8 was amazing, I mean, the FMVs were beautiful and the plot was amazing. Though not everyone is into time consuming games (and this took me 100hrs) it is worth it in the end with the great characters and satisfying FMV at the end which will leave you wanting to complete it again...did I mention how cool the plot is?
The whole leveling up and juntcion system is hard and a bit pants, you have to collect a 100 of each magic, junction it to....gf abilities...magic....sorry, falling asleep there
The Final Fantasy VIII game has a few gameplay flaws, maily the junction system, however despite the 10 hours of your life taken up by that, this game is well worth a play. It will engrose you (you may have to get over the begining) and leave you wanting more. This game requires alkot of time and effort but I guarantee it is worth it.
