This shows that sci-fi doesn't need fancy-pants special effects to be great. Another plus is that Leia as the damsel in distress gives the guys an excuse for derring-do without being misogynist.
In Episode V, an act of incest occurs (make-out to be precise) and is never denounced, even after the partners find out that they are brother and sister.
The original Star Wars movies, with its exciting plot and action is a classic for the ages that starts with the duo of C-3PO and R2-D2. They are on a ship that is invaded by Darth Vader. In haste, Leia uses R2-D2 to record a message for Obi-Wan Kenobi. C-3PO and R2-D2 escape the ship and land on Tatooine, where they are sold to Luke Skywalker's Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen. R2-D2's escape leads to Luke's introduction to Obi-Wan Kenobi. When Luke's house is burnt down, it arouses the start of his life as a Jedi and his fight against the evil Galactic Empire.
