reliable, relatively economic, comfortable ride on british roads. solid VW feel
Bad Points
Quite underpowered (heavy), slightly expensive to repair.
General Comments
Have owned a 1.6SE 8V since new (1999). Very pleased with the experience, only one major problem in the whole time (water pump failed, requiring engine out and new timing belt). Recommended used buy! Only moving on as I want something a bit faster....
