Constant problems in my experience.


General Comments

If I could offer any advice to anyone thinking of opening a Lycos account it would be don't bother.

Countless times I haven't been able to sign in to my account, not only that e-mails don't come through for days. The best one though is going into my account after being told I have 12 new mails. Once I get in I'm told my inbox is empty, not only that, I can't find any of my other emails! I started using lycos so I could create a more personal email address for applying for jobs but the reliability of Lycos is not worth missing a job offer over.

Being the underdog I don't think they can keep up with their competition and clearly judging by the other comments on here don't have the technical support to deal with the problems they do create not even for paying customers in my opinion. Sounds like they are cutting corners at every opportunity, perhaps trying to reduce costs. Until people start voting with their feet Lycos isn't going to get the hint as far as I am concerned.
