Good Points

If you have carpets, then I wouldn't recommend this, but I don't.


Bad Points

Like all Dysons, you have to wash the filter regularly, otherwise you do get loss of suction.

The tools are very fiddly, and even though they clip onto the machine, they fall off very easily and get lost.


General Comments

Much more appropriate for a house with wood floors than an upright cleaner is. I have wood floors throughout my house, with carpets only on two staircases. For this use, the Stowaway is perfect. Easy to use, and powerful enough.

Be careful when emptying it, because when you unclip the dust box it has a habit of spilling its contents.
