Good Points

nice flat panel monitor

Bad Points

BAD customer service, bad tech support.

General Comments

My Dell Dimension 2400 computer (about 4 months old) went bad, tech support wastes countless hours of my time trying to fix the problems, for the past month, even sent a tech out to replace the hard drive, minutes after he left, i'm back to calling dell with same old problem, only to spend hours more being transferred from here to there. Currently I'm waiting for a call back to see about an exchange. Nothing but a big hassle, lots of hours on the phone and who knows how much more it will cost me if i have to return it. Right now, my 10 year old Packard Bell computer is hooked up to my Dell monitor. Love this Packard Bell, just might have to invest in a new faster one. Very upset with Dell, i hope they don't treat everyone like this.

Did you get the LCD monitor seperately?

Why do you wonder if I got the monitor separately, does that make any differences in anything?

Hey, I don't like Dell either. I just want to know if the price included the LCD monitor or whether it was just the tower that you got.

    Price included the monitor.

I had a similar experience. I'm not very computer savvy and rely on good customer service when there's a problem. I cannot understand the Dell's customer service personnel. Their thick accents make it extremely difficult to understand what they're saying. Whatever happened to good ol' fashioned customer service? I guess cheap labor is all Dell cares about. So much for hiring fellow Americans... Cheap is in....good service is out. How sad.
