My card was immediately charged for $23.88, which I presume is a year's subscription to funtonia? Since then, I have been unable to download or install any ringtones from funtonia. Not even close! I can get the ringtone to my desktop, but not into my phone. I have talked to my local cellular company.
General Comments
Like another reviewer, I wanted one ringtone, and only one. I agreed to pay the $1.99 charge and I gave my credit card information because the site seemed to be secure. Immediately my Visa card contacted me (my first clue) and said this was an "out of the country" charge. I asked if I could deny the charge, since I was having second thoughts. They said no, because I had originally authorized the charge. (They were just making sure my credit card had not been stolen.)
My great fear is that when my first year of membership expires, they will try to run another year's charge on my credit card? I am watching this credit card like a hawk! My advice is, Do Not Use Funtonia!

I found this review helpful because...I was seriously thinking about registering with Funtonia to get some ringtones and now after reading just some of the reviews of this website, Forget It! I'm glad I checked into it further first.
