Overall Rating
- Value for money

- Customer service

- Speed of response

We've used them for several years. On the couple of times that we've needed the service (when the car wouldn't start at home, which is covered), they have sent out a local repair truck which reached us within an hour, and successfully started the car. The service is very competitive, and will cover self (and spouse for a few pounds more) driving ANY car, which is really good value. Autoaid reimbursed us with a cheque within the week, and thanked us for using their service!
Bad Points
You have to pay the repair truck driver, and remember to reclaim what you paid.
General Comments
You must be able to pay for the repair and callout charge, around 45 if not extra costs involved, e.g. just to jump start and check the battery condition. Autoaid will ask you whether you need to pay by credit card before ringing the garage providing the truck, otherwise you can pay by cash. All you then need to do is download the claim form from the internet, or ask Autoaid to post one to you, and send it back with the receipt.
