Good Points

Easy to use, ultra reliable and all parts easy to purchase and replace. Prior to this model I paid over $100 for a Delonghi which lasted thirteen months. This Dualit was bought second hand for less than that and has lasted 28 years.


Bad Points

Initially expensive, but as these things last forever, you can always buy a second hand one as a fraction of new cost.


General Comments

My Dualit 4 slice toaster was made in 1980. It still works like a charm. I've had to replace two lots of elements but they are relatively inexpensive , easy to find on eBay and with basic common sense you can replace them yourself. I agree with a previous poster that toast is toast, but how nice to be able to turn the toaster on morning after morning and it works.
