Good Points

Excellent razor with outstanding finish. For those that use a double edge blade, this razor is a classic and a superior shaver.

Bad Points

Cost is the only serious drawback, may be a bit too aggressive for some people.

General Comments

The Chatsworth DE uses a Merkur Classic three piece head that Jagger polishes, chromes, or gold plates to their own higher standard.
Comes in two versions to consider: A synthetic handle in Ivory or Ebony, and an all metal lined handle.
The synthetic Ivory model is the one I have. The balance is just a bit head heavy, which is good. The handle itself is 4 inches, just an inch longer than a Merkur HD or most Gillettes.
I've been a wet shaver for quite a number of years and, having tried most all the Merkur and Gillette vintage razors, this is my razor of choice. I like a moderately aggressive razor coupled with either a Feather or a Swedish Gillette blade.
The all metal lined Chatsworth is heavy, which some people like, and may be the best looking razor on the planet other than the English Gillette bulldog handle Aristocrats.
