Bad Points
Rude rude rude staff (though with occasional exceptions), excessive ridiculous charges, impossible to run account without having to go into branch.
General Comments
NatWest I have found are a shockingly bad bank. The staff I have encountered have no idea of banking procedure - I work in a bank myself and repeatedly have to explain how things work when I speak to staff on the telephone. Call centre staff seem to be students earning beer money (no offence students), no interest in solving problems, and certainly no interest in the reputation of the bank. I would steer well clear of this bank unless you want to be charged 400 pounds in bank charges within 3 days for a minor oversight as I was. I was even denied access to my account for weeks through no fault of my own.
